SmartDJ store is built on X-Cart platform, however you can hardly recognize that. The site layout was changed to meet the niche needs while there also was unique custom design integrated. When visiting the store, a user can easily review necessary information about a product on one page (in multiple products tabs) as well as get a shipping quote by typing a zip code (what is appreciated by most customers). We made processes of browsing and evaluating products easy and convenient for users. In addition, SmartDJ has a peculiar product cost system that guarantees the best prices ever for consumers.
One more our goal was implementation of complex inventory and pricing schemes within the store administration area. As a result, SmartDJ has an advanced inventory system: the site administrator can define amounts of arrived and delivered goods and thus find out in-stock product inventory automatically.
A pricing scheme and consequently reporting one were also adjusted. Now it is possible to specify not a retail product price, but an initial product cost, and calculate the final store revenue based on this cost numbers. Furthermore, we have added an opportunity to set up an extra charge percent for a group of products, so that the admin does need to spend time doing that for products one by one.
We have achieved our main goal - we have made the store user-friendly and conveniently manageable at the same time.
